Fillings / Restorations

Our dentists offer dental fillings to treat cavities. Dental fillings can also be used to repair cracked or broken teeth. Ask about tooth-colored fillings that blend seamlessly to create a natural look.

Preventive Care

We recommend routine preventive dental care visits two times a year. Each routine visit includes a comprehensive cleaning and oral examination. We will screen for decay, gum disease, periodontal disease, oral cancer, TMJ, and problems with your bite. To enhance your smile, we can also address any cosmetic dentistry concerns you may have. In addition, our dentists can create a TMJ or Bruxism device custom made for you.

Implant Crowns and Bridges

Your tooth crown is the part of the tooth above the surface of the gumline. A dental crown is a cap or covering that we can place over your natural tooth after a tooth has become damaged or decayed. Dental crowns protect teeth.

A dental bridge is an appliance that uses a series of porcelain crowns to fill the gap left by a missing tooth. Dental bridges feel secure and can provide you with the functionality you’ve been missing since you first lost your tooth. To create a dental bridge, we attach crowns to your teeth adjacent to the gap. We use these crowns as posts and can cement another dental crown in between those crowns to bridge the gap in your mouth. Dental bridges can be used to replace single or multiple missing adjacent teeth.

Gum Disease Treatment

If left untreated, gum disease, or periodontal disease, is the leading cause of tooth loss. At Burgess Dental, we provide gum disease treatment so you can feel more confident about your oral health. Our doctors offer individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of our patients. If you suffer from gum disease, we can restore your oral health and help you enjoy a smile that’s natural, healthy and long lasting.

Some common signs of gum disease include:

  • Sensitive gums that bleed easily
  • Swollen gums or gum tenderness
  • Teeth that feel loose in your mouth
  • Teeth that appear longer because the gums have started receding
  • Bad breath or halitosis
  • Pus between your gums and teeth

If you experience any of these symptoms, you should schedule an appointment with one of our dentists to discuss periodontal disease diagnosis and treatment.
